Silverstreet Summer Short Story

penSilverstreet Publications is accepting entries to its short ttory competition summer 2009.

Entry is open to anyone in the world.

The theme is optimism.

Entries must be a minimum of 500 words and a maximum of 2,500 words and must not have been previously published.

Send your entry by email.

Prizes: £200, £100, £25 or one of six prizes of a £10 book token.

The top 15 entries will be included in a future publication. In addition to any prizes, material used from writers will be paid for, said the organisers.

Entry fee is £3.50.

Only one entry per person is accepted as you can't win more than one prize.

Winners will be notified by September 30, 2009.

Closing date is August 29, 2009.
