Write a full length play for Sussex
A
playwriting competition in Sussex is open to any author, regardless of
nationality or country of residence, according to the promoter Sussex
Playwrights' Club.
Entries must be original, written in English and not previously broadcast,
produced before a paying audience or read at a club meeting..
Prizes: £250; £150 or £100 plus a reading of the play
at a club meeting.
The play should be in two acts and last approximately 90 minutes
Entry fee is £5
A judge's announcement will be made in mid-December 2009
Post plays --- clearly typed and securely bound --- to Mr Dennis Evans,
2 Brunswick Mews, Hove, East Sussex, BN3 1HD. All plays must be entered
under a pseudonym.
Winning authors must agree to their plays being given a reading at a club
meeting
Closing date is July 31, 2009.
