Dromineer Literary Festival poetry and story competition
Entries
are being accepted for the 2009 Dromineer Literary Festival poetry and
short story competitions.
Prizes for both competitions are €500 for first place, €350
for second place and €150 for third place. Entry to the poetry competition
is €5 for first poem and €3 for additional entries.
Maximum length is 40 lines per poem.
The maximum number of words is 600 per story. The entry fee for stories
is €10 per story.
Multiple entries are permitted in both categories.
All entries must be unpublished work. Copyright remains with the author
subject to Dromineer Literary Festival having the right to first publication,
said the promoter.
The closing date for receipt of entries is August
7, 2009.
