Global Newsbox poetry

WWWEntries to the Global Newsbox poetry competition are posted on the promoter’s website for voting upon.

The prize is £250 for the best poem published on the site between now and January 2010.

The competition is free to enter, and is open to entries from anywhere in the world, and to all ages.

Multiple entries are permitted.

Maximum word count is 600 words.

The promoter’s judging panel will make the first selection; after that, it’s up to the site users who email to say which pieces they like best.

Ten poems with the highest scores will be re-published during the first week of December and users invited to vote again for the overall winner.

The result will be announced on 11 January 2010.

Closing date for entries is November 30, 2009.
