Hay-on-Wye Short Story

penStories are being accepted for the second Hay-on-Wye Short Story Contest.

The contest is open to all but stories submitted must be previously unpublished.

Prizes: £400; £200 or £100.

Entry fee is £6 per story

This year the subject of the short story must be LOST which can be a person, a thing, money or anything else.

Maximum story length is set at 2,000 words.

Winners will be announced at the Hay Winter Festival in November.

Depending upon where the writer lives, he or she may travel to Hay-on-Wye and read their winning story.

Closing date for entries is July 31, 2009.
