OFF_ Writing Competition

pen greenOFF_ is an independent magazine and press, publishing contemporary creative writing in the English and Polish languages.

The magazine is launching an international creative writing competition as part of POLSKA! YEAR celebrations supported by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute.

Two cash prizes of £100 are on offer. There is no entry fee payable for the competition. Word limit is 3,000 words.

Off_ is a non-profit making organisation, authors published in the anthology will receive complimentary copies of the book, but no payment, said the publisher.

All rights remain with the authors.

Open to all original creative fiction and non-fiction written in either English or Polish, the competition is free to enter and unlimited by any set themes.

Winners will receive cash prizes and all short-listed entrants will be included in a twin translation anthology, to be published in late summer and distributed internationally.

Closing date is June 30, 2009.
