Jack Rosenthal award launched
The
Jack Rosenthal short competition is open to any writers aged 16 or more
– published or non-published.
Prizes are: £1,000, £500, £250 or one of 25 prizes of
£50.
All entrants receive a free copy of the published collection of all the
best stories.
Maximum word count is 2,500 words.
Writers may enter up to four stories for one entry fee of £10.
Entries are accepted by post or by email.
The first page attached to each story must be a cover sheet containing
the title and the author’s contact details.
Manchester-born Rosenthal was a regular writer for the TV soap Coronation
Street, amongst other accomplishments.
