Handcuffed reader

handcuffsWriters often complain that the people who buy their books don’t always read them. Some are left to one side, pending leisure time; others are received with bad grace as gifts and never opened.

But a Wisconsin woman little thought she would be handcuffed and arrested for not returning some books to the public library.

Heidi Dalibor, (20) of Grafton, Wisconsin, agreed that she ignored calls from her local library to return overdue books.

She also ignored a summons to court over the same issue.

But, she could not ignore police when they called to her home following her non-appearance in court to arrest her, according an Ananova report.

Dalibor paid about $15 for the two overdue paperbacks.

Her mother paid $85 bail money to free her, from custody.
