Graphic Short Story Prize 2008
Jonathan
Cape is promoting the second annual graphic short story prize in association
with The Observer and the COMICA festival.
The prize celebrates the art of the graphic novel.
Jonathan Cape will provide the winning entry with £1,000 and £250
for the runner-up.
The winning graphic short story will be published in The Observer
on November 9, 2008 and displayed at the Comica festival at ICA on the
weekend of November 15/16.
The winning piece will also be published on www.guardianonline.co.uk
Sought is emerging talent, evidence of future potential and identification
of writers and illustrators of excellence and originality, said the promoters.
Closing date October 17, 2008.
