Manchester Poetry Prize
The
Manchester Poetry Prize offers a first prize of £10,000 for a portfolio
of three to five unpublished poems.
The total length of the portfolio should not exceed 120 lines. Poems can
be on any subject but must be new work, not published elsewhere.
The competition is open to published and unpublished poets, internationally,
writing in English. Poets aged between 18 and 25 years may also enter
a category which offers a bursary for study at Manchester Metropolitan
University as its prize.
Closing date for entries is August 1, 2008.
Entries can be made online or by post
