Writers for web TV

microphoneOnce upon a time, writers used to read from scraps of paper to other earnest writers in a writers’ circle.

Now there are mics, performance routines and recording for sound and vision.

In Dublin, the New Writers Forum Group has invited writers to an open mic reading session in the Irish Writers' Centre on May 9, from 7pm to 9:30pm

Writers are invited to read their own work of poetry, prose, short stories, novel extracts and so on.

Listeners are also welcome to attend the session.

Writers wishing to read should email ahead of time or arrive at the centre, at 19 Parnell Square, Dublin 1, between 6:30pm and 6:50pm on May 9.

Readers will be selected on a first come first in basis

And readers may be recorded,
on the night, for broadcast on web TV .
