Rod Hall Memorial Award

Applications are being accepted for the biennial award given in memory of literary agent Rod Hall.

The award is intended to launch a writing career. The winner will receive a £5,000 commission to write a play for the new writing company Paines Plough, and representation from the Rod Hall Agency.

Applicants must be playwrights between the ages of 18 and 30 years, and must not have been produced before.

Writers must be UK residents and qualifying plays must be more than 60 minutes in length.

All entries must be submitted unbound with a covering letter detailing experience.
