Derby short stories wanted
Stories may be submitted on any
theme, but entries should be no longer than 5,000 words.
The story must be original work and should never have been published before.
Prizes are: £500, £250 or £150.
Entry fees: £4, subsequent entries from the same writer £3.
Postal or online entries and payments are acceptable.
The author’s identity or contact details must not appear on any
poem but be supplied on a separate cover sheet.
Worldwide copyright for submitted stories remains with the author.
The
City of Derby Short Story Competition reserves the unrestricted right
to publish winning stories on its website.
