Stories from union members
---------------------------------

THE Public and Commercial Services union (PCS) in 2005, ran a trial short story competition in conjunction with WORDS magazine.

The competition is to continue as an annual event, open to all trade union members across the UK.

There are no restrictions on theme and there is £600 in prize money to be won.

All winning stories and commended entries will be published in WORDS Magazine and in an online anthology.

Guidelines and entry forms can be downloaded from the PCS website

Submit as many entries as you wish. Stories should not exceed 2,000 words.
An entry form, plus the correct entry fee (£2 per story), must accompany all submissions. Supply author details on and approximate word count on a cover sheet.

Closing date June 30 2006.
